All States Plastic Manufacturing Co. was incorporated in 1963, the outgrowth of a company that previously produced molds, tools, and dies. Our product line was injection molded nylon cable clamps.

In 1968, All-States completes the design, patented it, and began manufacturing the first one-piece all nylon cable ties in the United States. Prior to this, industry cable ties had been "two piece" with either a separate, inserted metal pawl or a two piece all nylon design. The new one-piece ties offered a significant improvement over two piece ties, because they are easier to install, stronger, more durable, and cost less to manufacture . Other manufacturers quickly followed All-States' lead, and today the one-piece cable tie is the industry standard.
